Al Ghazal Iron Works Co LLC, which is a member of the AI Shirawi Group of companies, was established in 1979 to manufacture welded wire mesh and mild steel bars to British and other international standard specifications. Located in Dubai's AI Quoz industrial area next to Sheikh Zayed Highway on 200,000 sq ft about nine miles from Dubai, it has grown continually since 1979 and now produces annually over 30,000 tonnes of welded wire mesh and mild steel bars. Recently the company added cut and bend steel rebars to its product line so that it is now capable of meeting the entire steel requirements of any construction project from villa to high-rise building.
