The Atlas Steel and Wire Division manufactures and markets collated nails throughout the United States from its 100,000 square foot facility located in the metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, area. Atlas Steel and Wire, founded in 1964, began the manufacture of collated nails in 1985. The division became part of the Gerdau Ameristeel family in 1986.
