Cable USA acquired Dekoron/Unitherm and Dekoron Wire and Cable in 1999. The Unitherm Division designs and manufactures an extensive line of thermally insulated tubing, temperature controlled tubing and flexible heated hose products, and self-regulating heating cables used in industrial and commercial applications where precise control of fluid properties is required. The Dekoron Division specializes in signal transmission products such as multi-pair, control and thermocouple extension cables; including served steel wire and interlocked armor used in process industries for control and instrumentation.
