In June of 1986, Ford Wire and Cable began manufacturing operations in a 12,000 square foot building located in Vero Beach, Florida. Sales growth required a larger manufacturing facility. By June of 1993, the facility size expanded to 25,000 square feet. In December of 1993, Ford Wire and Cable was on the move again. This increase resulted in the purchase and relocation to a 40,000 square foot building in Roseland, Florida. Ford Wire and Cable Corporation manufactures (UL) Plenum and Riser thermostat wire and Fire Alarm Cable, all available with overall shielding. In addition, we manufacture (UL) Telephone Station Wire, Underground Irrigation Wire, Pool Ground, Solid Bare Copper, and THHN Building Wire. These products are used in the HVAC, Electrical , Irrigation and Security Alarm Markets and distributed nationally through manufacturers' representatives.
