G&H® is first and foremost an orthodontic archwire manufacturing company. As such, we take great pride in our technical expertise and the supporting technical data we possess. This emphasis is purposeful in presenting data that is otherwise conspicuously absent in the industry. We find the lack of such information creates a significant void in the profession akin to using straight wire bracket systems without knowing prescription values such as torque and angulation. It is our premise that force materials such as wire are the workhorses that create tooth movement while brackets simply provide a means of grabbing hold and guiding the tooth. Without a fundamental understanding of force and working range, efficiency can be squandered leading to potentially compromised treatment time and results.
