Mittal Steel Ostrava a.s. company is a metallurgical combine with the closed production cycle, also including a part of the engineering production. The metallurgical production is of mass character, at the engineering production this is largely the question of a batch production, or exceptionally production by the piece. The pig-iron production was transferred in full extent to VYSOKÉ PECE a.s. Ostrava from January 1, 1997.
